On January 8, 1942, Stephen Hawking was born. Although he was born in a well-educated family, his family's economic condition was not good. The time of World War II was challenging for livelihood earnings and his family came to Oxford in search of a safe place.
You will be surprised to know that Stephen Hawking today is such a great cosmologist, his school life was not very excellent.
They were initially students with less marks than average in their class, but they enjoyed playing board games. He was very interested in mathematics, even with the help of some people, he had made computers from parts of old electronic devices to solve mathematical equations.
At the age of eleven, Stephen went to school, and then went to University College, Oxford. Stephen wanted to study mathematics but mathematics was not available at University College, so he pursued physics.
During the last year in Oxford, Hawking began to suffer from inability. They had to deal with difficulties in climbing stairs and sailing. Gradually, these problems increased so much that their bid began to falter. Shortly after his 21st birthday, he was diagnosed with a disease called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Due to this disease, all the organs of the body gradually stop working and finally the patient dies.
At that time, doctors said that Stephen Hawking would not be able to live for more than two years and he would soon die.
Gradually, Hawking's physical ability began to decline. They started using crutches and stopped lecturing regularly. The limbs of their body slowly stopped working and their body gradually became like a zombie zombie
But Hawking did not allow disability to dominate him. He did not allow his research work and normal life to stop.
As he lost his ability to write, he developed compensatory visual methods, even he began looking at equations in terms of geometry.
Victory over disability
When everyone lost hope, then Stephen had started writing history on his own incredible faith and efforts. He has given his inability and illness as a boon. In his own words, "he says,
"Before my disease was diagnosed, I was very bored of life. It seemed that nothing was worth it. "
But when they suddenly realized that they could not even finish their PhD, they devoted all their energy to research.
In one of his interviews, he also mentioned -
"At the age of 21, all my hopes were zero, and after that I found the bonus."
His illness was not cured, and his illness brought him to the wheelchair and forced him to talk through a computer machine, but he never stopped.
In their own words
"Although I can not walk and talk through the computer, I am free from my mind". "
Despite that Stefan Hawking's body had become like a dead but he never gave up. They travel, participate in public programs and today are engaged in their research work continuously at the age of about 74 years. He provided many important ideologies to the world and made his incomparable contribution in the field of space science.
In 2007 Stefan Hawking was flying on Zero Gravity
They want to go into space and they say that they will be happy that even if they die in their space.
Stephen Hawking has promptly proved that death is certain, but willingness to accept the desires and challenges of living, but it is up to us to live between birth and death.
We can surround ourselves with difficulties and take a pessimistic attitude and wait for death, accepting the desire and challenges of living and dedicating ourselves to our dreams can lead to a purposeful life
